OUR MISSION

Movement Dance Complex (MVMT) is more than a dance studio—it’s a community built on passion, growth, and love for the art of dance. Now in our second year, MVMT was created by Abba Parrott with a simple but powerful vision: to create a space where dancers feel seen, supported, and inspired—not pressured or boxed in.

Dance has always been a huge part of my life. It taught me confidence, discipline, creativity, and how to express things words sometimes can’t. But more than anything, dance gave me a sense of belonging. MVMT was created out of that love—for dance itself and for the people who choose it.

At Movement, we believe dance should be joyful, encouraging, and challenging in the best way. We are proud to be both a recreational and competitive studio, offering a wide variety of classes for dancers of all ages and levels. Whether your dancer is stepping into the studio for the very first time, training seriously for competition, or returning to dance as an adult—we have a place for you here.

Our goal is to train strong, confident dancers while also nurturing kind humans. We value progress over perfection, community over comparison, and passion over pressure. Every dancer matters. Every story matters.

MVMT is a space where dancers are allowed to grow, try, fail, succeed, and fall in love with dance over and over again. We are so grateful for the families, dancers, and teachers who make this place what it is—and we’re just getting started 🤍
