REGISTRATION FEES: $30.00 annually per new or returning student.
TUITION FEES: Tuition is non-refundable regardless of missed classes due to vacation, illness, school holidays, etc. Tuition will be posted on the 28th of every month and is due on the 1st of each month. A $15 late fee will be applied to your account on the 9th if tuition isn't paid.
A $35 NSF fee will be charged for any declined card payment.
*IMPORTANT: Tuition remains consistent each month—regardless of whether a month has five weeks or is shortened due to holidays. Instead of fluctuating rates, we’ve averaged tuition across the full dance season to keep things simple. One set rate, one easy monthly payment! Make-up classes are not available and are not owed under any circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to consistency in attendance.
COSTUME FEES: Costume fees for annual dance recitals are $100 per costume, and are due in the month of January. If paid after the deadline, a $20 late fee will be added to each costume to cover individual processing and ordering costs.
RECITAL FEES: There is a $70 recital fee due in the month of February ($35 for second student). Recital Fees do not include tickets, but WILL INCLUDE a digital download of our Spring Recital video.
*IMPORTANT: Due to the sheer volume of students at Movement Dance Complex, we split up all of our performing numbers into two different shows. Multiple children in multiple classes, or one child in multiple classes, may result in your family purchasing tickets for multiple shows.
We require 30 days notice for withdrawal from a class. For example, if you withdraw from a class December 5th you will still be charged January 1st tuition. Once choreography for the May recital has begun in January, students are strongly encouraged to stay enrolled in the class.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP: For our dancers 7 and up, we have a drop off only policy. Parents should plan to wait in their car, outside or are able to leave and run errands. Our dancers ages 2-6 may have ONE parent wait in the lobby during their class time. Please note that our lobby is very small. If you have more than one person (or other children) it is encouraged for you to wait outside in your car or on our benches. We do not want to disrupt any of the classes that are going on.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Movement Dance reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Families with enrolled students will be contacted to discuss alternative options. Classes must have 3 or more students registered for the class to continue.
CLASS CALENDAR AND SEVERE WEATHER: Movement Dance generally follows the Coweta County calendar. In case of inclement weather, the studio will close when Coweta County Schools close. Check our social media pages for updates on weather-related cancellations. Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes for inclement weather closures.
MDC does not offer any refunds. This includes but is not limited to: Registration Fees, Costume Fees, Competition Fees, Tuition, Late Fees, Recital Tickets, Misc. Fees, Dancewear, and all other fees acquired to your account.

As we continue growing into this new chapter as Movement Dance Complex, we’ve made every effort to keep costs as reasonable and accessible as possible. This past year was a transitional season, and we’ve gradually introduced changes to strengthen our program while being mindful of our families. While there is a small increase in tuition and the addition of a monthly team fee, we want you to know that MDC still remains competitively priced—often lower than other studios in our area. These updates allow us to properly compensate our teachers for the extra hours they dedicate to our dancers, cover rehearsal time, and continue investing in the quality of training we provide. Many of our faculty are pursuing ongoing certifications and professional development to ensure our dancers receive the very best instruction and support. Every decision is made with the goal of building a studio where dancers are not only technically strong, but also deeply valued, inspired, and equipped to flourish.
